10th Anniversary WPD Released; Vegan For Life Lecture Tour; South African Reflections; and more

Greetings!

From the bustle of our year-long “Vegan for Life” lecture tour, we are delighted to announce the release of the 10th Anniversary Edition of The World Peace Diet.

This new edition contains the complete text, plus a second preface, vegan recipes, updated resources, and study questions for study groups and deeper understanding, and with all this, the book is less bulky because of slightly thinner paper. It’s available also as a Kindle version. If you’d like to submit a review for Amazon, that would be most appreciated! You can also order all versions, including the World Peace Diet Audio Book, on our website, as well.

As outlined in our tour schedule, we’ll be presenting in Atlanta and Athens this weekend, and then in Asheville, Charlotte, Myrtle Beach and other cities as we head north in the next month through Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New York, and into New England this summer, and heading back through the mid-west in the autumn. Our schedule is being continually updated and expanded; we look forward to hopefully seeing you and your friends somewhere this year.

We are grateful to the many people who are helping to facilitate this lecture tour and also for the inspiring ongoing efforts we witness daily as we travel and see the growing profusion of vegan restaurants, products, meet-up groups, films, blogs, gatherings and vegfests. These are critical times, and it’s heartening to see so many contributing to making a positive difference in our world, starting with ourselves, our plates, and our relationships.

We have just posted Part Two of our essay “Vegan Inspirations from Dubai and South Africa” that focuses on our recent adventures spreading the vegan message in South Africa. We found an enormous amount of inspiration and wisdom in the vegan movement there, and hope that we can learn from each others’ insights and examples. Please check out the essay and share if you feel inclined – thanks!

(An impassioned current example of South Africa’s spicy vegan spirit is Johannesburg’s Beverley Buckley’s “Vegan4Good” Campaign!)

There have been some terrific online summits spreading the vegan message that we have been interviewed for recently, and that we highly recommend as excellent sources of information and inspiration. One of them is Naturally Fit As A Fiddle! with Kathi Collins.

Margot Freitag’s upcoming online summit, “Plant-Based Transformation Summit,” looks especially good. You may have already heard the buzz about this remarkable event. Along with 19 other experts in the field, we have been invited to partner with this extraordinary team to clarify answers to questions about plant-based nutrition.

It’s heartening to see the vegan message radiating into the awareness of our culture, liberating animals, ecosystems, and all of us from the devastating effects of animal agriculture.

Don’t forget World Peace Diet Sundays. This reading of The World Peace Diet is open to all. If you would like to go deeper into the ideas in The World Peace Diet and also into the ideas in our book, Circles of Compassion, join us in the World Peace Diet Facilitator Training Program.

We look forward to seeing you and continuing to work together to reveal the deep structure of our culture, and the many ways we can liberate and heal ourselves, animals, and our world.

That’s it for now!

With thanks and love,

Will & Madeleine
