Joy and Freedom, New Videos, and John Robbins
Dr. Will Tuttle
Please join us tomorrow, Wednesday, June 25, at 2 pm EDT for the fourth session of our online series, Joy and Freedom on the Vegan Path. We are teaming up with our friend and noted vegan colleague, Dr. Gabriel Cousens, MD, to offer this set of teachings on the many benefits of vegan living.
We will explore how a vegan lifestyle supports peace with the community, building on the first three sessions that focused on peace with the body, peace with the mind, and peace with the family.
The communities in which we live deeply affect our sense of meaning, purpose, and inner peace. In this session, we’ll consider:
- How vegan living can foster harmonious community relationships
- The central role of food in community health
- Ways we can communicate with others that are in alignment with our values
- Wisdom traditions that point to a vegan world as the foundation for lasting peace within and between communities.
Whether you are a long-time vegan or simply exploring this path, this session is intended to provide clarity, inspiration, and practical insights to help us thrive joyfully and contribute effectively to building a world of kindness, freedom, and respect.
This presentation with Q&A is hosted by The Vegan Community online platform, and is open to everyone at no cost. Please join us and spread the word to friends and colleagues – thanks!
Additionally, the video recording of our keynote speech at The National Animal Rights Day event in San Francisco is now available for viewing for fresh inspiration in our efforts to liberate animals for the benefit of all.
We also recorded an interview with Vegan Sign Guy: “Why Climate Change is Used as a Tool – featuring Dr. Will Tuttle,” and Madeleine and I have posted another of our short Morning Musical Inspiration videos with uplifting original piano and flute music for your enjoyment. And for those of us interested in spirituality, we have this recently-recorded interview on Theosophy, service, and the great adventure of meditation and self-enquiry.
Finally, as most of us are by now aware, the celebrated author and visionary John Robbins, our long-time friend of about 37 years, recently passed on and we give thanks for the many seeds of compassion, awareness, and healing that he has planted in our culture’s soil, starting with his 1987 best-seller, Diet for a New America. We recommend this memorial video honoring his life and legacy.
That’s it for now. May we continue to share and embody the timeless wisdom of ahimsa, and respect for all expressions of life. Thanks for your many efforts and please see our tour schedule for more upcoming events online and here in California.
